What would SorrelSites cost my organization?

How much does SorrelSites cost?

SorrelSites costs $99 a month for up to 100 active members, $199 for up to 300, $399 for up to 750, and $699 for up to 2,000. Paying annually takes 10% off. Above 2,000 members, and for chapter networks, pricing is worked out individually.

There is no setup fee, and SorrelSites takes no cut of your dues — your dues and event payments land in your organization's own Stripe account and you pay your payment processor directly. Billing is month to month with no minimum term and no penalty for leaving.

Do I pay for members who have lapsed?

No. SorrelSites counts only members whose membership is currently active. People you have captured as contacts, and members who have lapsed, expired or cancelled, do not count toward your plan size — and neither do your admin and volunteer logins.

This is worth checking against what you use now, because tools that price by total contacts charge you for every address you have ever collected. An organization with 120 active members and eight years of lapsed records can sit in a much larger tier there than the same organization does here. It is also why the calculator above asks for active members rather than contacts — putting your contact count in would overstate your SorrelSites plan.

What does this calculator leave out?

It leaves out payment-processing fees on both sides, because both SorrelSites and your current tool sit on top of a processor that charges its own percentage — netting them out of one side only would tilt the answer. It also assumes no setup fee for your current tool, which is generous to them, since several charge one.

The overlap months are counted against your current tool, not SorrelSites, because that is how a real move works: you keep the old subscription running while the new one is set up. If your renewal date is near, you can often make that overlap a single month.
