Who builds SorrelSites, and how to reach us
SorrelSites is membership software for volunteer-run organizations — clubs, associations and alumni groups that are the system of record for their own members. This page is the short version of who is behind it and what we will and will not do with your organization's data.
How do I talk to a real person at SorrelSites?
Email support@joinsorrel.com and a real person here will answer you. That address is not a ticket queue that routes to a chatbot — it reaches the people who build SorrelSites.
If your organization has more than 2,000 members, or you run a network of chapters, write to the same address and tell us roughly how many members and chapters you have. Those setups are priced individually and we would rather talk it through than have you guess from a pricing page.

SorrelSites is a small, independent company. The person who builds it is the person who answers your email.
What support do I get, and does it depend on my plan?
You get real help on every plan, including the smallest one. Support is not a tier you buy up into at SorrelSites — a ten-member club and a two-thousand-member association reach the same people at the same address.
While you are settling in after a move, the commitment goes further: if something did not come across from your old system the way you wanted, tell us and a real person here will get in and fix it with you, at no charge and without you filing a ticket. That offer is about the move-in — it is not open-ended website design work, and we would rather say so plainly than let you discover the edge later.
What happens to my organization's data and money?
Your data stays yours and your dues never pass through SorrelSites' bank account. Those two things are the ones worth checking before any organization moves its system of record, so here they are in writing.
Your data is yours, and you can take it out whenever you want
You can export your members, your dues history, your events and your documents at any time, without asking us and without paying for the privilege. We do not hold your data hostage to keep your business, and there is no export fee.
Your dues go to your own bank account, not through ours
Dues and event payments land in your organization's own Stripe account. We run the connection so you do not have to manage it day to day, but the money is never pooled in a SorrelSites account and never passes through us on its way to you.
Month to month, with no exit penalty
SorrelSites is billed month to month. There is no minimum term, no auto-renewing annual lock-in you have to catch in time, and no penalty for leaving. If you pay annually for the discount and then leave, you are not charged again.
If we ever wind down, you get your data out first
If SorrelSites were ever to shut down, we would give you notice and a working export before the service stopped — not a dead login page. Small organizations have been burned by this before, and it is a fair thing to ask about a young company. This one is a commitment we're making here rather than a clause in the Terms, and we would rather say that plainly than let you assume otherwise.

Can I sign up today?
Not yet — SorrelSites is in final testing, and signups open through a waitlist rather than a self-serve form. We would rather bring organizations on deliberately, with someone paying attention to each move, than open a door we cannot yet stand behind.
