Included paid-plan allowances are not hard caps. Standard overage rates apply above the included allowances; your organization’s agreed rates take precedence. Additional usage is billed monthly, and recording usage is charged proportionally. For more than 2,000 active members, talk with our team.

Contacts
Contacts are people in your list who don't currently qualify as members—for example, prospective members or event guests. These contacts do not count toward a paid plan's active-member allowance. A former member who holds a current position does count.
Free board plan
The free board plan counts everyone in your people list, including contacts, toward its people limit.
A staff seat alone does not count as a member. Paid member usage follows your live count, with the month's charge based on the count on its last day.

How is Free different from a paid trial?
Free board management has no trial clock. It supports up to 25 people including contacts, with Sprout usage and 4 hours of meeting recording per month. A full-product trial lets you evaluate the paid capabilities for 14 days.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
If you do not choose a paid plan, your organization moves to the Free board plan. Your records and any already-published website remain; membership, dues, events and further website publishing require a paid plan. Member card-dues renewals stop when the organization moves to Free.
How can we keep track of Sprout usage?
In Settings → Usage & limits, see your current Sprout usage, included allowance, where usage comes from and any overages. Paid organizations can set warnings and a monthly overage cap. The cap can pause AI and recording; active-member overages still apply.

What needs a paid plan?
Membership plans and dues, payments, events and tickets, the member portal, and publishing your website need a paid plan.
What happens at a Free allowance?
The 25-person limit counts everyone in your people list, including contacts. Drafting, questions and transcription share the Sprout allowance. Sprout and recording pause at their limits until next month; upgrade if you need more. Free does not bill for extra usage.
Do we have to upgrade as soon as we exceed a paid member allowance?
No. The allowance is not a hard cap. Additional active-member rates vary by plan; your organization's agreed rate takes precedence. Compare the base plan plus additional usage to find the sensible choice.
Does SorrelSites take a percentage of our dues?
SorrelSites adds no transaction fee. Card-processing and other payment-provider fees still apply.
Are push notifications included?
Paid plans include unlimited mobile push notifications at no per-notification charge.
