Estimate your membership budget at our published extra-member rates, then compare it with what you pay today. This includes the overlap months during a move. Count only members whose membership is currently active. Lapsed members and people on your mailing list don't count toward your SorrelSites plan. What do you pay today, per month? Your current software bill. Enter 0 if you're on a free tool. Overlap months Most moves pay both bills for a month or two. We add the old subscription’s overlap cost to the cost of switching. Only the base subscription is discounted. This is the lowest membership-only estimate at our published rates, not a plan recommendation or invoice quote. It assumes your active-member count stays steady and your other usage fits the plan’s allowances. Add what you pay today, above, and this becomes a three-year comparison including the overlap months during the move. ### How much does SorrelSites cost? Starter costs $99 a month with 100 active members included. Growth costs $199 a month with 300 active members included. Pro costs $399 a month with 750 active members included. Scale costs $699 a month with 2,000 active members included. Paying annually takes 10% off the base subscription. Above 2,000 members, and for chapter networks, pricing is worked out individually. There's no setup fee, and SorrelSites takes no cut of your dues — your dues and event payments land in your organization's own Stripe account and you pay your payment processor directly. Billing is month to month with no minimum term and no penalty for leaving. ### Do I pay for members who have lapsed? No. SorrelSites counts only members whose membership is currently active. People you've captured as contacts and members who've lapsed, expired or canceled don't count toward your plan size — and neither do your admin and volunteer logins. This is worth checking against what you use now, because tools that price by total contacts charge you for every address you've ever collected. An organization with 120 active members and eight years of lapsed records can sit in a much larger tier there than the same organization does here. It's also why the calculator above asks for active members, not contacts — putting your contact count in would overstate your SorrelSites plan. ### What does this calculator leave out? The estimate includes the base subscription and member overage. It leaves out extra Sprout usage, extra recording, text-message add-ons and any organization-specific rates. A higher plan may be better for those workloads even if its membership-only estimate is higher. It leaves out payment-processing fees on both sides, because both SorrelSites and your current tool sit on top of a processor that charges its own percentage — netting them out of one side only would tilt the answer. It also assumes no setup fee for your current tool, which is generous to them, since several charge one. The old tool’s overlap months are added to the cost of switching, because you keep the old subscription running while the new one is set up. If your renewal date is near, you can often make that overlap a single month.
