With a steady 120 active members, Starter comes to $119/month: $99 for the subscription plus $20 for 20 extra members. You are not moved up a tier for them, and you are not asked to remove anyone to fit. That is $80 less than Growth at $199/month, assuming the other included allowances cover your use. Free has no overage bills. Sprout handles the rest, day and night. What I'd tell my own board I've had to put a software bill in front of a board, so here's how I'd argue this one. Ninety-nine dollars a month is roughly what the club spends on one evening's catering, and it replaces a renewal spreadsheet, a website nobody will touch and the minutes somebody retypes. Ask the treasurer what our current tool costs over three years, not one — that's the number that changes minds. And if your board's real problem is fundraising, not membership, say so out loud: a donor-management tool will serve you better than we will, and I'd rather tell you that now than after you move.
